(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 21 - Italian pension and social security
agency INPS said in 2023 it registered 8,174,923 new employment
relationships and 7,651,979 terminations in the private sector
with a positive balance of almost 523,000 contracts, reporting
data from its Observatory on precarious employment on Thursday.
The figures do not include contracts for workers in the domestic
and agricultural sectors.
The positive balance for permanent contracts alone stood at
395,708.
The figures represent an improvement over 2022, when the overall
positive balance was 419,487 with 331,990 more permanent
contracts. (ANSA).
