(ANSA) - ROME, APR 9 - Almost two million Italians do not get
the medical care they need because they can't afford it, medical
foundation GIMBE said Tuesday.
Some 1.9 million people in Italy cannot afford to get the
treatment they need, it said.
Further, the health of some 2.1 million "indigent" families is
at risk, the report said.
The report was based on figures from national statistics
institute Istat. (ANSA).
