(ANSA) - ROME, APR 12 - A heavy goods vehicle caught fire on
Italy's main north-south AI motorway two kilometres from Arezzo
in Tuscany leading to tailbacks of up to 11 kilometres Friday.
The accident occurred shortly before 4 p.
Traffic is currently blocked on the closed section, with 11 km
of traffic jams towards Rome and one km of traffic jams towards
Florence.
There are also difficulties in moving on the alternative road
network that has gone haywire due to the numerous cars that have
exited at Arezzo.
No injuries are reported at the moment. (ANSA).
