Man stabs ex and her father

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 6 - A 40-year-old man stabbed his 37-year-old ex partner injuring her seriously and stabbed her 71-year-old father injuring him critically in front of the victims' mother and wife in a street in Varese near Milan on Monday.
    Both victims were taken to Varese's Circolo Hospital in code red.
    The father is said to be in "desperate" condition, fighting for his life.
    It had initially been reported that the man had thrown acid in his ex's face. (ANSA).
