(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 9 - Italy's greenhouse gas emissions are
estimated to have decreased by 6.2% in 2023 compared to 2022,
according to a report released on Thursday by the ISPRA
environment agency.
The report added, however, that transport emissions continued to
increase, rising by about 1% due to the heavy use of cars and
road freight transport and the low market penetration of
electric cars. (ANSA).
