(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 30 - Two 18-year-old students took their
school's defibrillator to a nearby bar where they saved a
pensioner's life after he went into a cardiac arrest that was
flagged on their phone apps in Modena Wednesday, local media
reported Thursday.
The pair, a male volunteer in the public assistance association
AVA and a female Blue Cross volunteer, rushed to the bar as soon
as their phones pinged.
The pensioner was taken to hospital where he is said to be
comfortable. (ANSA).
