(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 4 - A 35-year-old Italian climber fell to
his death on the Matterhorn on Tuesday.
Piacenza-born Luca Bernini fell from the eastern face while he
was skiing down, probably after slipping.
Bernini was an Italian Alpine Club (CAI) instructor based in
Piacenza.
His body was recovered by Air Zermatt.
Investigations into his death are being led by cantonal police
from Sion. (ANSA).
