(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 7 - A Michelin starred sous chef is to
become a priest in Milan on Saturday.
Marco Garrini, 26, left celebrity chef Davide Oldani's two-star
D'O restaurant at Cornaredo near the Lombardy capital to join a
seminary three years ago and on Saturday will be ordained by
Milan Archbishop Mario Delpini in the city's iconic Duomo.
"The spark that called me to my vocation was a meeting with a
cloistered nun at Assisi," Garrini told Avvenire Sette Milano.
"It was what I saw and experienced that enabled me to answer
'here I am'".
Garrini, who is from MIlan, will be among 17 new priests to be
ordained by the archbishop in the Sumo Saturday. (ANSA).
