Today's 30-year-olds to retire at around 70 - INPS

Not until 74 if they don't have 20 years of contributions

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 11 - Most Italians aged 30 at the moment will not retire until they are around 70, according to the pension simulator of social-security-and-pensions agency INPS, which just been updated on the basis of the 2024 budget law.
    It said that someone who was born early in 1994 and began work at the start of 2022 and has at least 20 years of social-security will start to claim a State pension when they are 69 years and 10 months of age.
    It said those without 20 years of contributions will have to wait until they are 74. (ANSA).
