(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 21 - Former Italy forward Roberto Baggio
has said he will need some time to overcome the fear after being
attacked in a robbery at his home on Thursday.
"First of all, my family and I would like to thank everyone for
the great affection we have received," Baggio told ANSA in a
statement released via his long-standing manager Vittorio
Petrone.
'Anything can happen in situations like this, and, fortunately
the violence I suffered only caused a few stitches, bruises and
a lot of fear.
"Now I have to overcome the fear". (ANSA).
