(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 24 - Two Italian teenagers, the sons of a lawyers and a Carbinieri officer respectively, have been arrested in the Abruzzo seaside town of Pescara after they allegedly stabbed to death a 16-year-old Italian boy in a central park after a row there Sunday before going to the beach and disposing of the knife in the sea, local sources said Monday.
Police said the row stemmed from a disagreement over petty drug pushing.
They said the weapon used was probably a scuba diver's knife given the size of the wounds on the body of the boy, who was found in bushes in Paden Powell Park.
The victim, Thomas Christopher Luciani, who was approaching his 17th birthday, was stabbed repeatedly after being lured to the little frequented part of the park, police said.
He died of massive injuries to his vital parts, they said.
