(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 24 - A three-year-old girl fell into a
drainage channel and drowned in Padua after wandering away from
a family picnic on Sunday.
The incident occurred in Ponte San Nicolò, an area in the
suburbs of the Veneto city.
The family was having a picnic with some friends when the little
girl wandered off and disappeared, local sources said. (ANSA).
