Two American students raped in Sicily

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 5 - Two American female students have been raped in Sicily, allegedly after being lured into a trap by two young local men aged 18 and 19 in the centre of Siracusa.
    The girls, who were on holiday in Siracusa, were allegedly raped on the night between Wednesday and Thursday in the Ortigia district, in the city centre.
    The men have been charged, following the girls' complaint, with aggravated sexual assault.
    They allegedly lured their victims into the trap on the pretext of needing documents to get cigarettes from a vending machine, police said.
    The young women were allegedly raped in two different spots at Ortigia. (ANSA).
