(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 9 - Seven Italian cities, four of them in
Lazio, will be on red heat alert Thursday as a fresh heatwave
brings sticky and breathless 'afa' conditions to the Bel Paese.
A red alert means even the young and healthy must avoid the sun
in the hottest hours.
The cities are: Campobasso, Frosinone, Latina, Perugia, Rieti,
Rome and Trieste.
Meteorologists say the afa will stick around for about 10 days.
