(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 20 - A 49-year-old woman has been arrested
for homicide and put in jail after going on holiday in June and
allegedly abandoning her disabled, elderly mother, who died in
the town Montelibretti, near Rome, while she was away, sources
said Saturday.
The woman had been initially put under house arrest but she has
now been jailed after investigations found evidence that she
allegedly planned to try to flee justice, the sources said.
