(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 24 - An Italian Air Force Eurofighter on
Wednesday crashed during a large multinational military exercise
over Northern Territory, Australia, defence officials said.
The pilot was safe after ejecting from the plane and is in good
health, the officials said.
The cause of the Eurofighter Typhoon warplane crash is still
unknown.
The plane crashed near the northern city of Darwin during
Exercise Pitch Black 24. (ANSA).
