(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 7 - University Minister Anna Maria Berini
on Wednesday said a reform of research contracts has been
approved to crack down on the current "temporary work hell"
experienced by researchers employed by universities, public
research institutions and the ministry's AFAM higher institute
of artistic, musical and dance training.
Addressing a press conference after the council of ministers,
Bernini said the reform is a "toolbox" with "different
instruments" according to the seniority of researchers providing
"growing forms of protection" as careers progress.
Bernini said an observatory will be set up to evaluate the
impact of the new legislation over the next three years. (ANSA).
