(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 13 - A 16-year-old girl was drugged,
kidnapped for 24 hours and raped, investigative sources said on
Tuesday.
The teen from the northern city of Bolzano reported the rape to
police who have now arrested a 37-year-old man on charges of
aggravated sexual violence, abduction and supplying drugs to
a minor, the sources said.
The girl told investigators that she met the man at a bus stop
and he convinced her to go with him to a techno party.
During the drive, he offered her water containing
tranquillizers, the investigative sources said.
The arrest warrant was issued by Bolzano preliminary
investigations judge (GIP) Emilio Schönsberg at the request of
the prosecutor investigating the case, Igor Secco.
Police searched the man's home and seized his computer, which
will be examined, along with medicines that could have been used
to drug the victim, police said. (ANSA).
