(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 18 - Deputy Premier and Transport Minister
Matteo Salvini on Sunday visited Premier Giorgia Meloni at the
resort where she is spending her summer holiday, Masseria
Beneficio, in Puglia's Ceglie Messapica.
During the informal meeting, the prime minister and Salvini
called on the phone Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio
Tajani.
The three leaders of the centre-right ruling coalition discussed
together the main political current events ahead of the
resumption of activities after the summer break, ministry
sources said.
The themes possibly included EU and RAI appointments and the
draft budget.
Meloni has been spending her sholiday for the past week at
the countryside resort with her daughter Ginevra and her brother
in law, Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida, among
