(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 18 - Jannik Sinner will play against
Germany's Alexander Zverev on Sunday night in the semifinals of
the ATP and WTA Cincinnati Open.
Alexander Zverev overnight beat US player Ben Shelton 3-6 7-6
(7/3) 7-5.
Italy's world number one on Saturday defeated Russian Andrey
Rublev in a 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 fightback.
If Sinner wins on Sunday night, he will have to face the winner
of the match pitting US player Frances Tiafoe - who qualified
after the withdrawal of Poland's Hubert Hurkacz after conquering
the first set 6-3 - and Denmark's Holger Rune, who beat
Britain's Jack Draper 6-4, 6-2. (ANSA).
