Seven missing after sailboat sinks off Palermo

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 19 - A 50-meter-long sailboat with 22 people on board sank early on Monday off Porticello, near Palermo, after a tornado hit the area.
    Coast guards rescued 15 passengers but seven others have been reported missing. Firefighter divers are attempting to reach the boat, which is currently located at a depth of 49 metres some half a mile from the coast.
    Carabinieri police, the 118 emergency medical service and the civil protection are aiding survivors. (ANSA).
