(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 22 - Four people have been placed under
house arrest as part of the investigation into an attack in
Turin against La Stampa reporter Andrea Joly in July, in front
of the 'Asso di Bastoni' club frequented by Casapount militants.
Turin prosecutors have opened a probe on aggravated private
violence and lesions.
The people suspected of involvement in the attack placed under
house arrest were identified as Euclide Rigato, 45, a taxi
driver from Turin; Marco Berra, 35, a workman from Cuneo; Igor
Bosonin, 46, a former candidate for mayor in Ivrea near Turin;
Paolo Quintavalle, 33, from Chivasso.
A fifth person is also under investigation in relation to the
incident, Maurizio Galiano, 53, from Turin.
Joly was attacked on July 20 while he was documenting with
photos and videos a party in front of the Asso di Bastoni club.
