'Italy's cheese exports to China at risk over tariffs'

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 22 - The commercial war on electric cars between the European Union and China endangers the growth of Italian cheese exports to China, which in the first five months of 2024 grew by 35% compared to the same period last year, according to an analysis published on Thursday by farmers' union Coldiretti.
    The study, based on ISTAT data, was released after Beijing announced it had started an anti-subsidy investigation into imports of dairy products from the European Union, in response to tariffs on electric cars. (ANSA).
