(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 26 - One of two young women who were hit
by a car while going to church in Palestrina, near Rome, died on
Monday morning, medical sources said.
The friend who was walking with her has been injured but is not
in critical condition.
The 118 emergency medical service on Sunday airlifted the
critically injured 20-year-old to hospital where she died on
Monday morning.
The car's 72-year-old driver did not report any injuries.
Carabinieri police probing the incident have seized her car.
