(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 26 - A major tailback of at least eight
kilometres happened after a car crash on Italy's main A1
north-south motorway at Anagni, in the direction of Rome, on
Monday.
The accident occurred around 9 a.m. between Anagni and
Valmontone.
The Autostrade motorway company advises those coming from Naples
and heading towards Rome to exit at the Anagni station, take the
Casilina state highway and re-join the motorway at Valmontone.
Medical and mechanical rescue services, the Fire Brigade,
Traffic Police patrols and the staff of the Autostrade per
l'Italia's Fiano Romano 5/o Tronco di Fiano Romano Directorate
were on the scene. (ANSA).
