(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 31 - At least 20 people were injured on
Saturday morning in a major accident on the A23 highway between
Gemona and Carnia in the northeastern Friuli Venezia Giulia
region in the direction of Austria.
A number of critically injured people involved in the accident
were taken to the hospitals of Udine and Tolmezzo.
A portion of the highway was temporarily closed to traffic.
