(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 1 - The 17-year-old who on Sunday morning
called the 112 emergency service saying he had killed his father
after the man stabbed his mother and 12-year-old brother to
death in their home in Paderno Dugnano near Milan is being
officially probed, investigative sources said.
The teen, who was questioned by investigators throughout the
day, is being probed by Milan's juvenile prosecution unit.
His version of events, at least for the moment, was only
partially confirmed by evidence gathered so far and
investigations are still ongoing, the sources said.
The teen early on Sunday called the emergency service saying he
had killed his father after walking into his 12-year-old
brother's room and finding his dad with a knife in his hand
beside the bodies of his younger brother and mother in the
family apartment.
The boy, who told investigators he woke up after hearing his mom
and brother scream, said he took the knife from his father's
hand and stabbed him to death.
Investigators think nobody outside the family was involved in
the murders, which are believed to have occurred at around 1 in
the morning. (ANSA).
