Worker crushed to death at Brescia factory

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 13 - A 55-year-old worker on Friday was crushed to death at a plastic factory in Torbole Casaglia near Brescia, Lombardy.
    The man was moving goods when he lost his balance and the weight of the load he was transporting crushed him. Almost 500 people have been killed in work accidents among payrolled steady workers in Italy in the first semester of 2024, the national observatory on the phenomenon has said.
    The figure rose to 670 over the same period when temp and gig workers were included. (ANSA).
