(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 15 - Some 12 people were slightly hurt
after a car was accidentally driven into a crowd at the Turin
Motor Show Sunday.
The rally car, a Lancia Delta, lost control and crashed into the
crowd behind the barriers in Piazza San Carlo, in the centre of
Turin.
Twelve people were injured, reportedly all in a minor fashion.
However, one woman suffered "cuts and bruises" and a suspected
broken leg and was taken to hospital in code yellow, local
officials said.
Five others were also taken to hospital for further
investigations, while the others were attended to on the spot by
medical staff.
The local police are ascertaining the facts and have started
investigations with the driver of the vehicle and those
responsible for organising the event. (ANSA).
