(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 23 - A 50-year-old man, Lorenzo Carbone,
confessed to killing his mother on live television on Monday
during an interview in front of his home in Spezzano di Fiorano,
Modena.
Replying to a question from Fabio Giuffrida, a reporter who
works for Mediaset's program Pomeriggio 5, the man teared up and
admitted to strangling his mother.
"I couldn't stand it any longer, I couldn't manage her.
"I don't know why I did it", he said.
"Sometimes, she made me angry because she always repeated the
same things".
The journalist called the Carabinieri police and the man was
arrested.
The woman was found dead on Sunday afternoon. (ANSA).
