41 risk trial over pizza, beer, drugs, phones at Rebibbia

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 1 - Some 41 people including police and a doctor risk trial after authorities discovered that pizza, beer, drugs and phones were being smuggled into Rome's tough Rebibbiba prison, judicial sources said Tuesday.
    Charges of criminal association aimed at drug dealing and corruption are being prepared, they said.
    The allegedly illicit deliveries date back to 2020. (ANSA).
