(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 2 - Transport Minister Matteo Salvini said
the huge train chaos caused by technical issues in two Roman
stations Wednesday was due to a mistake by an unnamed private
company which would pay the consequences for it.
"Those who have on their conscience the inconveniences caused
today to thousands of people will have to answer for them,"
Salvini said otside the Lower House.
"The technicians tell me there was an error last night by a
private company, which hammered a nail into a cable and then the
reaction time to this error - I expect the private company will
answer for it - was not up to par with the second industrial
power in Europe". (ANSA).
