Italy's women doctors outnumber male medics for first time

Pension's agency Enpam reports 50.1% of physicians are female

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 7 - Italy's women doctors outnumbered their male colleagues for the first time last year, physicians' pension agency Enpam said in a report on Monday.
    It said there were 180,916 women doctors here in 2023, meaning they made up 50. 1% of the total, while the number of male medics was 180,502. (ANSA).
