(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 8 - Crew members of Italy's Tg3 newscast
were attacked on Tuesday morning in Lebanon, near Sidon, the
third channel of State broadcaster Rai said.
The local driver had a heart attack and died.
The news program of Rai's third channel reported about the
attack in its midday newscast, when international correspondent
Lucia Goracci said that an armed man first and then a group of
people approached the car on which she was travelling with other
journalists and threatened them.
At that point, the driver had a heart attack and died despite a
cardiac massage.
A fixer had alerted Hezbollah about the presence of the
journalists in the area, according to the report. (ANSA).
