Workplace safety not cost but right says Meloni

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 14 - Workplace safety is a right for all workers and guaranteeing it is a permanent priority, Premier Giorgia Meloni said Monday.
    "Security on the job is not a cost, but a right of any worker.
    "Guaranteeing this right is a permanent priority, which must see everybody on the front line", Meloni said in a message for the presentation of the annual report of national labour accidents and occupational illness agency INAIL.
    The premier noted that the government's strategy focused on "more prevention, more controls, harsher measures for those who don't respect the rules". (ANSA).
