(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 18 - Police in Rome have arrested a
41-year-old Tunisian citizen over a banned pro-Palestinian
protest in the Italian capital that turned violent on October 5,
investigative sources said Friday.
The man is charged with "aggravated resistance to public
officers because it was committed by a group of more than 10
people".
The man, who was wearing a black helmet and had covered his face
during the protest, allegedly threw blunt objects against
anti-riot police.
He also allegedly cut himself on his chest and on an arm to
prevent police from tacking him, threatening to stab security
officers with a razor blade, investigative sources said. (ANSA).
