(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 24 - Two workmen died and another one was
injured on Thursday on the A1 highway between Orvieto and
Attigliano in Umbria after they were hit by a truck in the
emergency lane.
The victims, a 52-year-old from Potenza and a 35-year-old
Pakistani who had climbed out of their vehicle because they had
run out of gas, were hit by a lorry, road police said.
A third workman, who is from Bangladesh, was injured in the
accident. (ANSA).
