(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 27 - Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi
has asked Italian Police Chief Vittorio Pisani to get
information form prosecutors probing a huge new snooping case in
order to carry out checks "on alleged abusive access to the
ministry's databases or on the illicit use of the same",
ministerial sources said Sunday.
On this front, moreover, they added, "a commission of
specialists previously established by the minister is operating
at the Viminale (interior ministry) also to define any further
measures and procedures to protect inter-force IT structures".
