(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 28 - The first exit poll results released
right after voting stations closed in Liguria's regional
election on Monday suggested that centre-right candidate Marco
Bucci is on course to win between 47-51% of the vote, ahead of
centre-left candidate Andrea Orlando with 45.5-49.
The first exit poll was released by Opinion Italia for State
broadcaster RAI.
According to preliminary data provided by the interior ministry
through the Eligendo website, turnout at 15:00 Monday was
46.06%, down from the 53.50% during Liguria's previous election
in 2020.
Figures from nearly 50% of stations - 748 out of 1,785 - were
for the moment available. (ANSA).
