(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 28 - Reggio Emilia has the best urban
environment in Italy, according to the annual Ecosystem report
from environmental group Legambiente published on Monday.
The Emilia-Romagna city is followed by the northern Trentino
Alto Adige city of Trento and Parma, also in the central region.
Overall, Emilia Romagna is the region with more cities among the
top 10 with the best urban environments out of the 106 centres
surveyed.
Meanwhile, the South has eight cities at the bottom of the
ranking with Naples in 103rd position, Reggio Calabria105th and
Catania 106th.
Rome is 65th from last year's 89th position. (ANSA).
