(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 29 - A Milan-based snooping gang that
allegedly compiled dossiers on commission on Italian business,
political and entertainment figures allegedly met with people
linked to Israel's secret services last year, Carabinieri said
Tuesday.
In February 2023, Vincenzo De Marzio, a former Carabiniere
investigated in the inquiry into illegal dossiers, allegedly had
a meeting, together with Nunzio Calamucci, the main hacker now
under house arrest, with "two unidentified men who reportedly
represented a branch of the intelligence (service) of the State
of Israel", the police said in a report.
The paramilitary police said they had they reconstructed "the
presence of individuals linked to Israeli Intelligence at the
offices of Via Pattari", the headquarters of Enrico Pazzali's
Equalize investigative company, which was managed by the former
'super policeman' Carmine Gallo.
Pazzali has suspended himself from his position as chairman of
the Milan fair Foundation amid the probe, in which he is accused
of being one of the gang's two ringleaders along with Gallo.
