10 mn Italians to travel over the Nov. 1 holiday weekend

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 30 - An estimated 10 million Italians are expected to travel over the November 1 All Saints' holiday weekend, according to a survey published by hoteliers' association Federalberghi on Wednesday.
    About 8. 9 million will remain in Italy, visiting art cities and mountain resorts, among others, said the poll.
    Just over one million of holidaymakers will chose a destination abroad such as a foreign capital that can be easily reached by plane, the survey observed.
    The average length of trips will be of 3.3 days for a total of 19.8 million overnight bookings that will cost on average 462 euros per person, with revenues estimated to reach 4.6 billion euros, Federalberghi said in the survey. (ANSA).
