(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 12 - Tourism flows during the winter
season are expected to decrease with an estimated 26.7 million
arrivals and 78 million bookings, down respectively by 1.
Tourism flows, compared to 2019, would be stable in terms of
arrivals (-0.6%) and up in terms of bookings (+5.1%), the
polling agency has estimated.
Expenditure could reach 20.5 billion euros, down 4.4% from the
previous winter, mainly due to a decrease in the number of
foreign tourists taking their winter break in Italy, with an
expected 11 million of arrivals (-3.6%) and 37 million night
stays (-5.2%), according to Demoskopika. (ANSA).
