(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 15 - There were 80,057 road accidents
resulting in death or injury in Italy in the first half of 2024,
a rise of 0.9% with respect to the same period last year,
according to preliminary data released by Istat on Friday.
The national statistics agency said there 1,429 accidents in
which at least one person involved died within 30 days of it
happening in the January-June period, a rise of 4%. (ANSA).
