Little girl falls from window in shelter, mum kills self

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 27 - A seven-year-old girl fell from the window of a women's shelter where she lived with her mother, suffering serious injuries, and the mother, once she arrived at the hospital with the little girl, committed suicide by jumping out of the window in Calabria on Wednesday.
    The girl was reportedly with her 30-year-old mother in their room in the shelter when, for reasons currently being investigated and perhaps taking advantage of a moment of distraction on the part of the mother, she fell, causing herself multiple injuries. (ANSA).
