(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 3 - The Trento District Attorney's Office
has issued an arrest warrant for Austrian magnate René Benko,
founder of the Signa group, which made international press less
than a year ago for a mega-bankruptcy, judicial sources said
Tuesday.
Other arrests have reportedly been made in Italy, including
accountant Heinz Peter Hager from Bolzano and the mayor of Riva
del Garda Cristina Santi.
All are under house arrest.
Further developments are not excluded, police said. (ANSA).
