(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 11 - Carabinieri police in Padua and Piove
di Sacco in the north-eastern Veneto region have dismantled a
teen gang accused of attacking and robbing homosexual men and
women at a meeting venue in a secluded area of Padua,
investigative sources said Wednesday.
The Carabinieri served arrest warrants in prison on two people,
issued by a preliminary investigations judge (GIP) in Padua, and
searched the homes of 10 suspects, including six minors.
The suspects are accused of carrying out 10 armed robberies
between the months of June and July, the sources said.
The investigation is coordinated by prosecutors in Padua and by
the juvenile State attorney's office in Venice. (ANSA).
