(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 13 - Rome Chief Prosecutor Francesco Lo
Voi said Friday that an average of 19 criminal proceedings were
opened every day in Rome this year regarding cases of
gender-based violence.
He added that, as of 30 November, 3,839 red-code procedures to
protect women from domestic abuse had been activated this year.
He said custody orders for 925 people were issued in relation to
violence against women. (ANSA).
