(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 21 - Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi
on Saturday summoned a security meeting following a deadly
car-ramming attack at a Christmas market in the German city of
Magdeburg on Friday night, well-informed sources said.
On Saturday morning, the Committee of anti-terrorism strategic
analysis met at the interior ministry in Rome with
representatives of police and intelligence forces to evaluate
the risks ahead of Jubilee Year celebrations and of the
upcoming festivities.
After the talks, Piantedosi summoned the meeting with top
security chiefs to discuss the situation, according to the
sources. (ANSA).
