(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 23 - Prato prosecutors have identified the
point from which fuel fumes came out, creating the conditions
for an explosion at the Eni depot in Calenzano on December 9, in
which five workers died in Italy's most recent jobs accident
tragedy, judicial sources said Monday.
The step forward in the investigations came during a new
inspection in which some consultants appointed to answer
investigative questions participated.
The crimes hypothesized in the case - at the moment without
suspects - are multiple manslaughter, causing the intentional
collapse of buildings, and intentional removal or omission of
precautions against accidents at work. (ANSA).
